Made from "birdseye" maple from eastern Canada, this knife is perfect for butter, soft cheeses, pate, or any other spreadable condiment.
Wash with warm water and soap. Do not soak or put into a dishwasher. Re-Oil periodically to restore the wood's lustre with safflower, sunflower or walnut oil. Coat liberally. Let stand for half an hour. Then wipe thoroughly with a clean cloth to remove excess oil.

Roberta and Kaye Miller have been woodworkers for more than three decades. The pair share a truly collaborative process: Kaye is the wood turner, while Roberta handles the flat shaping. Their interest in woodworking developed from a desire to reveal the beauty of grain, figure, chatoyance, rippling and other features characteristic of wood.
