Porcelain "Japanese Doll" Vase
Anyuta Gusakova's dream-like sculptures are made from slip-cast porcelain. Liquefied clay is poured into a hand-sculpted mold and fired at extremely high heat, creating a smooth, marble-like finish. This charming vase is modelled after traditional Japanese dolls; sprigs of greenery or flowers form the hair.
8 inches tall, 4 inches wide.
